Within Marvin, you can choose from a few different roles when adding users. Each type provides a different level of permissions.
editor
Editor is the primary user role for those who need to access the central areas and features in Marvin. They have the most limitations, but they're still able to save personal user preferences, set the shot naming conventions, and import/export in every tool.
Editor users do not have permission to:
- manage users (add, delete, change status, reset password)
- modify the show info settings
manager
Managers can perform the same actions as editors, but they can also manage most of the user tasks.
Manager users do not have permission to:
- delete users
- modify the show info settings
admin
Admins can perform all actions in Marvin.
