Marvin Jr. can automatically create VFX plate names by simultaneously adding a suffix to shot ids and removing work descriptions from markers.
This action accepts master clips, subclips, and sequences.
to prep turnover
- Drag and drop a clip/sequence containing markers
- Fill out the form (see options below)
- Click prep

For each matching marker, text will be added after the shot id, and descriptions will be removed.

If there were no errors, you have several options:
- prep more - Clears the options but maintains the selected clip/sequence
- undo - Reverts the changes that were just made
- reset form - Clears the options as well as the selected clip/sequence
tips
- If you consistently organize multi-plate shots on different tracks, use the track option to quickly target each one.
- If you manually update the track or color of any markers after dropping the clip/sequence, click the refresh button below the drop zone to update the values in the dropdown menus.
- If you want to start over with a different clip/sequence, you can either drag and drop a different clip/sequence or click the X button below the drop zone to reset the form.
