The following is a list of known limitations with Marvin Jr.

| all | After zooming in or out, drop zone borders jump around when the cursor hovers over them due to a limitation in Avid's Panel SDK. |
| markers | Updating 50+ markers can cause Media Composer to become unresponsive when the marker window is visible due to a limitation in Media Composer. Workaround: This was fixed in MC 2024.10, but in 2024.6, temporarily hide or close the marker panel while Marvin Jr. is updating the markers. |
| markers | The new marker colors introduced in Media Composer 2024.6 are not available due to a limitation in Avid's Panel SDK. |
| clips | Some bin columns are not actually modifiable due to a limitation in Avid's Panel SDK. |
| clips | It is faster to use Set column for selected clips... when updating bin columns due to a limitation in Avid's Panel SDK. |
| shots | Avid's Panel SDK does not yet support the reading of clip data in a sequence. |
| submissions | Avid's Panel SDK does not yet support the creation of a sequence. |
| subcaps | Avid's Panel SDK does not yet support the reading or modification of subcaps. |
