The following is a list of known limitations with Marvin Jr.:

| markers | Prior to MC 2024.12: The new marker colors introduced in MC 2024.6 are not available due to a limitation in Avid's Panel SDK. We recommend upgrading to 2024.12+ or not using the newer colors with Marvin Jr. in 2024.6/.10, as those marker colors will revert to Avid's "backwards compatible" color. |
| markers | Prior to MC 2024.10: Updating 50+ markers causes Avid to become unresponsive if the Marker Panel is visible due to a limitation in Media Composer. As a workaround, temporarily hide or close the Marker Panel while Marvin Jr. is updating markers. |
| markers | The user column cannot be replaced/substituted to "" [empty] due to a limitation in Avid's Panel SDK. |
| clips | Some bin columns are not actually modifiable due to a limitation in Avid's Panel SDK. |
| clips | It can be faster to use Set column for selected clips... when updating bin columns due to a limitation in Avid's Panel SDK. |
