Rename multiple clips in a bin based on each's marker comment. You can use rename to create plates after running Batch Create Subclips.
This action accepts master clips and subclips.
to rename
- Drag and drop clips
- Fill out the form (see options below)
- Click rename
options

All clips with matching options will be updated.
results
If there were no errors, you have several options:
- rename more - Clears the options but maintains the selected clips
- undo - Reverts the changes that were just made
- reset form - Clears the options as well as the selected clips
notes
- If a clip has multiple markers on it, rename will reference the first marker of any color unless a specific color was selected in the options.
- If a clip does not have any markers on it, or if the selected color does not exist on the clip, then rename will skip it.
