You can update the track and name fields for imported shots, even though EDL and XML exports do not include them, by matching the timecode and color data from a separate marker file from the same sequence.
to match markers
- Click the actions button
- Click match markers
- Click either TXT or XML to select a markers file
- Choose the markers file and click Insert
- If matching data is detected, MATCH FOUND will appear next to the shot id
- To update the track and name fields, click match
All shots that matched to a marker will be updated.
notes
- You do not need to hide nor delete non-matching markers. Only the shots that matched will be updated.
