You can export marker data as a TXT file, so it can be imported back into Avid.

shot id | Only include the shot id |
shot id + description | Include both the shot id and description |
frame options
same frame | Marker will be positioned at the same timecode from the imported shots. |
first frame | Marker will be moved to the first frame of each shot. |
middle of clip | Marker will be moved to the middle of each shot. |
first + last frame | Original marker will be moved to the first frame of each shot, and a new, blank marker will be added on the last frame. If selected, you can choose its color. |
to export markers as a txt file
- Click the exports button
- Click markers (txt)
- Select export and frame options (see above)
- Type a name for the file and click export
- Navigate to your save location and click Select
notes
- Before re-importing the updated markers into Avid, first delete the original markers from the sequence.
