To use Marvin, you must activate a valid license key, which requires an internet connection.
You will be automatically redirected to the manage your software license page when you open Marvin if:
- you have not activated a license,
- you are using a trial license, or
- there is a problem verifying it with our licensing server
If you need to access this page at any other time, such as to deactivate a license, navigate to the about page and click manage in the license section of the Marvin tab. Note: you cannot navigate back from the manage your software license page unless you reactivate a license or use a trial/work offline allotment (if available).
In case you are working in an environment that does not have internet access or if there are communication errors with our server, there is a work offline allowance, which will allow you to continue working for a short period of time. The number of uses resets to the maximum allowed each time there is a successful connection, but, if you run out, you'll need to reactivate a valid license online to refresh it.
When upgrading to another version of Marvin, you should always deactivate your original copy first to prevent activation errors in the new version.
